The eighth periodic meeting of the Supreme Technical Committee of the National Information System formed under the decision of the President of the Public Information Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour No. (121) of 2023, which was hosted by the Authority on Wednesday, concluded a number of recommendations, most notably, confirming what was stated in the circular of the President of the Administrative Control Authority No. (5) of 2024 AD regarding the National Information and Documentation System and the need to focus on following up the implementation of all its articles, and the role of the General Information Authority in raising and following up on topics that touch the information sector The National Bank and coordinate work between its institutions to support the contribution of this sector to the process of digital transformation.
The meeting was chaired by Eng. Ayoub Rashid Al-Shuwaikh, Director of the National Information System Department at the Authority, Chairman of the Committee, and attended by members of the Committee, Directors General of Sector Information and Documentation Centers and their representatives.
