The first meeting of the expert group on developing the general framework of the seventh national report on human development 2025 and everything related to its axes as well as its chapters began today, at the headquarters of the General Information Authority, and the opening session of this meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour, and the Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in the State of Libya, Mr. Mohamed Saleh.
The team of experts includes a number of academics from various Libyan universities and academic and research institutions, in addition to a number of experts in the field of statistics and human development.
During the working sessions, the two-day meeting will discuss several topics related to the preparation of the seventh National Human Development Report 2025, including mechanisms and ways to reach common national visions on determining the general framework of this report in line with national priorities and their importance, developing the general perception of the report and chapter plans, identifying the technical and substantive aspects and issues of the report, in addition to identifying mechanisms for cooperation with the United Nations Development Program in the State of Libya in preparing the report.
