In implementation of the decision of the President of the General Information Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour No. (113) of 2024, regarding the formation of a committee for the annual inventory of all fixed and movable assets held by the Authority.
The preparatory meeting of the annual inventory committee of fixed and movable assets held at the Authority was held on Wednesday morning, in the presence of Mr. Adel Sobhi Abu Abdullah, Director of the Financial Affairs Department, Chairman of the Committee, members of the Committee, and heads and members of the subcommittees in charge of inventorying all components of the Authority.
The meeting opened with a speech by the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Adel Abu Abdullah, in which he stressed the importance of the annual inventory because of its effective role in preserving government property.
The Chairman of the Committee urged the chairmen and members of the subcommittees to follow the optimal method of inventory in order to achieve the desired objectives, indicating the plans and mechanisms of work of the committees and the forms used, pointing to the importance of collecting data related to the annual inventory according to the forms approved by the Committee.
The Chairman of the Committee instructed the chairpersons and members of the subcommittees to assume their functions immediately upon completion of the meeting.
The meeting witnessed a presentation on the importance of the inventory and the forms used in it, presented by a member of the committee, Eng. Mounir Al-Adl. The meeting also witnessed an extensive discussion on the importance of the annual inventory in accordance with the laws and financial principles in force.
