Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour, Chairman of the General Information Authority, stressed the importance that the Authority attaches to joint teamwork and solidarity with various ministries, authorities and institutions to maximize the value of annual government reports, as the Authority is the body charged with completing these reports.
This came during the bilateral meeting held on Monday between the Authority and the Inspection and Follow-up Department at the Prime Minister’s Office, in the presence of the Chairman of the Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Al-Baour, the Head of the Ministries Follow-up Section, Mr. Anas bin Mahmoud, the Director of the Planning and Projects Department at the Authority, Eng. Mounir Al-Adl, the Director of the Follow-up Office at the Authority, Mr. Makram Arhouma, the Director of the Office of the President’s Affairs, Mr. Ashraf Al-Murabet, and Eng. Wadih Kaabbar, General Coordinator of the Libyan Electronic Procedures Platform, within the framework of completing the discussions and recommendations of the meeting, which was held at the Diwan The Presidency of the Council of Ministers last Wednesday between the two sides.
In the meeting held at the Authority’s headquarters, the attendees listened to the presentation made by the Authority, which reviewed the Authority’s detailed methodology and strategic vision in preparing annual government reports and its previous achievements from these reports.
