Today, Monday, the Supreme Technical Committee of the National Information System formed by the decision of the President of the Public Information Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour No. (121) of 2023, held its ninth periodic meeting under the chairmanship of Eng. Ayoub Rashid Al-Shuwaikh, Director of the National Information System Department at the Authority, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of its members, the directors general of sectoral information and documentation centers and their representatives.
In its meeting, which was hosted by the General Information Authority, the committee reviewed the most prominent efforts and steps it has taken in the process of preparing the National Information System manual, what has been implemented, the stages completed thereof, and the procedures and measures required to complete it.
The committee discussed a number of important topics related to the preparation of the guide, including the observations received from its members on the preparation of the manual, the regulating legislation in particular, as well as the most important difficulties that may face the implement.
At the end of its meeting, the committee stressed the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination between all concerned parties to achieve the desired goals, with a focus on identifying the controls that must be followed in the coming stages, and working with effective steps that accelerate the completion of the guide.
