At the end of the meeting, which was attended by a member of the Libyan Audit Bureau for the oil sector, Eng. Anas Okeila, the two parties agreed on the importance of strengthening cooperation between the various stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and exchange of data, information and experiences.
It is worth mentioning that the ambitious climate scanner project is a national initiative that contributes to building an integrated national database that includes a wide range of indicators that reflect the progress made towards achieving the sustainable development goals, and aims to develop an advanced tool to monitor climate change in Libya and provide accurate and real data for decision-makers to take effective action to address environmental challenges.
