Today, Wednesday, at its headquarters in Tripoli, the General Information Authority hosted the seventh periodic meeting of the Supreme Technical Committee for the National Information System, formed by the decision of the President of the General Information Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour No. (121) of 2023, headed by Eng. Ayoub Al-Shuwaikh, Chairman of the Committee, and in the presence of its members, in addition to the participation of the General Coordinator of the Maturity Index of Electronic and Mobile Government Services assigned by the Chairman of the Authority.
The Committee began its meeting by reviewing its agenda items and the studies prepared by the Authority related to the presentation and use tables of the data of the National Information System Inputs and Outputs Guide and its data sources within the National Information System.
The Committee concluded its meeting by discussing the presentation tables and took the necessary decisions on them as an important statistical tool that provides important data in various fields, and contributes to decision-making and the formulation of sound and correct policies.
During this meeting, the General Coordinator of the Maturity Index of Electronic and Mobile Government Services, Eng. Mohamed Al-Qambari, presented a brief memorandum of the proposal for the general framework for measuring the maturity index of electronic and mobile government services for the year 2024, which will be implemented by the Authority in cooperation with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), and the components, plans and most important planned objectives included in this proposal, where the attendees discussed what was stated in this memorandum, and it was agreed to assign representatives from each government agency to cooperate and coordinate with the General Coordinator The maturity index of electronic and mobile government services, especially since measuring the index is an accurate tool to measure the level of technical progress and development in the provision of government services to citizens, and this memorandum is considered a working document between the concerned parties.
