His Excellency the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Eng. Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, directed the General Information Authority to work during the coming period towards completing the installation of the drug distribution system according to a strategic perspective, stressing the importance of continuing integration between the Authority and all concerned health institutions, taking into account the full commitment and adherence to the distribution of these medicines and their follow-up through these systems.
During the expanded meeting he held on Monday at the Cabinet Office, Libya Ramadan the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity stressed the need to set priorities in contracting and supplying and focusing on oncology drugs and other most common diseases, and contracting with Global manufacturers to ensure quality and speed of implementation.
At the end of the meeting, it was stressed the need to unify efforts from all institutions to implement all items of the public tender, focus on contracting with pharmaceutical manufacturers, and facilitate documentary procedures to ensure implementation according to the schedule.
