The Director of the National Database Department at the Public Information Authority, Mr. Nader Melitan, held a coordination meeting today, Tuesday, with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Technical and Technical Education for Diwan and Development Affairs, Dr. Al-Ferjani Ali Ahmed, during which they discussed activating the electronic link between the Authority and the Ministry.
In the meeting, which was held at the Authority’s branch in Ras Hassan, the two sides discussed the best solutions to complete the electronic link process between the national database in the Authority, with the Ministry’s database system, with regard to inquiring about the national number, in a way that contributes to developing the Ministry’s performance in line with the developments of information technology, and facilitates the conduct of citizens’ transactions and the speed of their completion, especially since electronic connectivity is a strategic goal and an essential step towards e-government services.
The meeting was attended by a number of heads of departments and experts in the authority, and directors of departments and offices in the ministry.
