Today, Thursday, the Engineer Lotfi Al-Zarrouk Karmous Hall at the General Information Authority hosted the closing ceremony of the specialized training program organized by Expertise France in cooperation with the Authority, within Raqameyon project, for technical employees from various state institutions on data science, which lasted for ten weeks, This was in the presence of the Deputy Director of the Expertise France in Libya, the Director of Raqameyon project , a number of General Directors of sectoral information and documentation centers, directors of departments and offices, consultants at the Authority, and representatives of the relevant institutions, and with participation from male and female employees enrolled in this training programme.
The closing ceremony program included a speech by the Deputy Director of Expertise France, Engineer Muhammad Al-Aswad, in which he explained that this celebration comes as a tribute to and a culmination of what Raqameyon project has achieved within its fourth component. Then he spoke about the importance of the specialized training program in empowering the male and female participants with the necessary skills that qualify them to carry out… They are doing their best work, especially in data science, artificial intelligence and information security, offering his thanks to the Authority and the rest of the institutions concerned for their cooperation and efforts.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates of completion of training courses to the trainees who benefited from the specialized training program.
It is worth noting that the specialized training program comes within Raqameyon project implemented by Expertise France in cooperation with the General Information Authority, in order to enhance digital skills in Libya, support the development of local digital capacity building programs and support digital transformation in the State of Libya.
