Continuing the efforts of the Supreme Committee for Quality at the General Information Authority, formed according to the decision of the head of the Authority, No. 45 of 2023, as part of its follow-up to the implementation of the quality management system at the Authority and obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, and its comprehensive plan to qualify departments and offices in this regard.
The member of the Supreme Committee, quality expert Dr. Osama Al-Fazani, held a meeting today, Thursday, with a number of employees from the Planning and Quality Management Department, in the presence of Mr. Makram Erhuma, the Office of Follow-up Director, for the purpose of reviewing the proposed quality policy of the authority developed by the department.
During the meeting, which was held at the authority’s headquarters and attended by the director of the Project Follow-up Department, Engineer Mohammed bin Younis, the director of the Research and Studies Department, Engineer Mohammed Alqambari, and the employee Fatima Khadim Allah from the department, Dr. Osama Al-Fazani, the quality expert, praised the efforts of all authority employees and their commitment to providing factors for achieving quality in various departments and offices, and their commitment to completing the required tasks in this regard, referring in this regard to the directives of the Committee’s Chairman, Engineer Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour, to ensure the preservation of the approach of establishing the requirements of the quality management system in the authority.
The meeting discussed a number of topics related to the proposal submitted by the Planning and Projects Management Department regarding the quality policy in the organization, including the objective of this policy, the principles it is based on, and the overall goals and implementation. The meeting also reviewed and discussed the models of SWOT analysis of the work environment in the organization presented by several departments and offices of the organization, in addition to mechanisms for promoting teamwork according to the approved plans and measures in this regard.
