The General Information Authority organized today, Monday, in the Engineer Lotfi Al-Zarrouk Karmous Hall at the Authority, a training course entitled (Requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001:2015), with the participation of 35 employees from department heads, units, administrative staff, and offices.
Engineer Munir Mohammed Al-Adl, Director of the Planning and Projects Department, and Chairman of the Authority’s Quality High Committee, inaugurated the training course by welcoming all the participants from various departments and offices, explaining that this course comes within the framework of the Authority’s continuous efforts to enhance the efficiency of its employees and increase their knowledge of the foundations and standards of the quality management system, pointing out that the Authority is committed to quality and improving its work outputs within a clear approach to achieving excellence, in line with modern scientific and technological developments, and in accordance with quality standards and concepts.
The course, which is lectured by the quality management expert Engineer Hisham Barkan, covers over three consecutive days, a number of topics related to the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015, including the concept of quality and its standards in general and how to apply them, and the optimal use of quality management in improving performance.
The course also provides practical training on how to design a quality management system in accordance with the issuance of the international standard ISO 9001:2015.
The opening of the course was attended by a number of members of the high-quality committee, department managers, and offices.
