The General Information Authority, as a founding member of the Professional Diploma in Law and Informatics, participated in the ninth meeting of the Diploma Proposal Preparation Committee, which was held yesterday, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the National Authority for Information Security and Safety. Dr. Abdulraouf Al-Bibas, Information Technology Consultant at the Authority, represented the Authority in this meeting as a committee member.
During the meeting, several topics related to the diploma were discussed, including setting a start date for the diploma, reviewing and approving the brochure introducing the diploma, identifying the target entities, and establishing communication and registration mechanisms.
It is worth mentioning that the General Information Authority, the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies, and the National Authority for Information Security and Safety are working on preparing a specialized professional diploma in “Law and Informatics”. Its main objective is to provide professional training on how to apply legal principles in the field of information technology and communications.
