Within the framework of institutional integration for the success of the seventh general population census project and other accompanying censuses, the general information authority and the Statistics and Census Authority agreed to link the national number of the Libyan population in the various stages of the census, the meeting was included the head of the both parties , the counsellor of the authority of Statistics and Census, and the Manager of the Department of Demographic and Social Statistics .
The meeting, which was held at the Authority’s headquarters, discussed a number of important technical issues related to conducting the census, including requirements for preparing basic geographical maps and geographical statistical divisions, in addition to defining tasks and roles between the two parties.
It is worth noting that the general population census and other accompanying censuses will be the seventh, and it is an extension of the series of censuses implemented by the State of Libya, as the outputs of the previous six censuses contributed to providing development plans with statistical data and indicators.
