Today, Tuesday, the General information authority held a coordination meeting with the Ministry of Local Governance, at the authority’s headquarters in Ras Hassan.
The meeting, which included the Director of the Authority’s National Database Department, Mr. Nader Mleitan, and the Director of the Information Technology Department at the Ministry, accompanied by the technical team, discussed the steps and mechanisms for activating the electronic link between the Authority and the Ministry to allow immediate data exchange between the systems of the two parties and in accordance with the highest standards of information security. This is within the framework of the keenness that the authority attaches to the various state institutions to benefit from the electronic connectivity services provided by the authority, in order to improve the quality and level of performance of services provided to citizens.
It is noteworthy that the General information authority and the Ministry of Local Governance signed a cooperation agreement on March 8, 2019, with the aim of developing the efficiency of service provision and activating the flow of data between them in accordance with the best practices followed technically. As stipulated in the agreement, and complementarity in their directions towards establishing the electronic municipal work system.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Al-Mukhtar Al-Azhari.
