Academics and national experts, tasked by the General Information Authority to develop the general framework of the seventh National Human Development Report 2025 and everything related to its axes as well as its chapters, concluded their meeting today, Thursday, after two consecutive sessions at the Authority’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, with the participation of the United Nations Development Program in the State of Libya.
At the end of their work, the academics and national experts agreed with the authority on the main title of the seventh national human development report 2025, which is (human development in the era of digitization), as well as agreeing to assign the task of the head of the research team to Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Hamali, a faculty member at the University of Ajdabiya.
At the end of their meeting, the academics and experts expressed their thanks and appreciation to the President of the General Information Authority, Eng. Abdul Basit Salem Al-Baour, for providing them with the opportunity to participate in this important national event, which represents an important platform for constructive dialogue between stakeholders from different regions of the State of Libya. The Chairman of the Commission thanked and appreciated the academics and national experts and the United Nations Development Program in Libya, for their fruitful efforts regarding national human development issues that targeted the Libyan person, stressing that the Authority’s constant choice is to invest in the human element as one of the national priorities, considering the citizen as the pillar and goal of development.
