Within the framework of cooperation and coordination between various government agencies with the aim of developing skills and transferring expertise, the General Information Authority received on Tuesday a delegation from the Libyan Audit Bureau, to learn about the best practices of the Authority in managing the national information sector, especially in the field of the National Information System in terms of methodology and follow-up mechanisms, and to identify its efforts in developing this sector.
The delegation included Mr. Mansour Al-Hamali, Chairman of the Monitoring Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Mr. Anas Abdel Hafeez, Mr. Ahmed Al-Saqer, and Eng. Raneem Al-Amin, members of the Committee.
The delegation was received by Eng. Ayoub Al-Shuwaikh, Director of the National Information System Department, Eng. Mounir Al-Adl, Director of Planning and Projects Department, Eng. Adel Al-Toumi, Director of the Experts Office, Eng. Tawfiq Naj El-Din, Head of the Data Resources Section, Mustafa Abu Aisha, an employee in the Data Resources Department, and Eng. Rabia Al-Qaedi, Head of the Evidence and Content Unit.
The members of the delegation of the Libyan Audit Bureau listened to full and detailed explanations of the national information system, its basic concepts and components, and the efforts of the Authority in support of developing the legislative system in force to regulate the national information sector in line with contemporary information developments.
For his part, Mr. Mansour Al Hamali stressed that this visit comes in the context of the NAO’s keenness and interest in providing its cadres with the necessary skills and knowledge, and to identify the leading local works in the field of managing the national information sector, stressing the NAO’s keenness to enhance aspects of joint cooperation in this regard.
