Today, Tuesday, the General Information Authority hosted a meeting that included the Libyan Digital Innovation Lab team, the Deputy Director General of the Tax Authority, officials and specialists from the Authority, the Director General of the Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Finance and the Deputy Director of the France Experts Foundation in Libya.
The meeting dealt with the main features of the Libyan Digital Innovation Lab and how to embrace ideas and innovations in the field of digital transformation, in addition to discussing coordination to prepare a hackathon during the coming period to develop electronic government collection methods in partnership with stakeholders to embrace best practices, ideas and innovations that can be applied in electronic payment mechanisms to collect tax value.
This meeting comes as a continuation of the Authority’s efforts to consolidate and consolidate bridges of effective communication with Libyan institutions, to identify the best ways to stimulate innovation and creativity in the fields of digital transformation.
It is worth mentioning that the Libyan Digital Innovation Lab is an innovative initiative implemented under the umbrella of the partnership between the General Information Authority, a number of Libyan institutions and the France Experts Foundation, and is part of the E-nable project funded by the European Union.
