Today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the General Information Authority, a training course was launched in the field of preparing data specialists in government agencies, with the participation of representatives from a number of sector information centers.
1. Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Finance.
2. Center for Research, Studies and Documentation at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
3. Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Water Resources.
4. Economic Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Economy and Trade.
The opening of this course, which will last for five days, was attended by Engineer Adel Jumaa, Director of the Experts Office, lecturer at the course, and Head of the Data Sources Department, Engineer Tawfiq Najm al-Din Misbah.
The Director of the Experts Office said that this course comes within a series of programs and training courses organized by the Authority for specialists working in the field of data in various government agencies, to enhance their capabilities and create an appropriate work environment that enhances the use and exchange of data, and to achieve integration between government institutions.
The training course addresses many of the main topics related to the national policy of government data governance, and the role and importance of the National Data Guide in achieving this policy, as well as empowering participants with the basic skills and modern technologies that are used in collecting and disseminating data, determining its characteristics, and applying appropriate controls for sharing it.
