Today, Thursday, at the headquarters of the General Information Authority, a preparatory meeting was held on the Raqmiyon project, which is implemented in partnership between the General Information Authority and Expertise France, which included the general coordinator of the project, Eng. Mounir Al-Adl, Director of the Planning and Projects Department at the Authority, the Training Consultant at the Ministry of Education, the Director of the Human Resources Department at the Ministry of Economy and Trade, and the director of the Training Department at the Ministry of Economy.
The meeting focused on discussing some issues related to the project, and the mechanism for nominating the targeted trainees from the sectors and their affiliates, during the meeting, it was agreed to hold another expanded meeting on Monday, August 14, that includes all stakeholders, in order to introduce the project, its objectives, and the mechanisms of cooperation with the authority in implementing the project.
It is worth noting that the Raqmiyoon project aims to develop Libyan human resources in a number of components of the public sector, municipalities, civil society institutions, in order to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of electronic management and digital transformation, which will reflect the diversity in the Libyan labor market and raise the capacity of workers and transfer of experience and knowledge of global best practices.
The Director of the Authority’s Administrative Affairs Department, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al Shomani, participated in this meeting.
