On Wednesday, Eng. Abdulbaset Salem Al Baour, head of the General Information Authority, takes part in the launching of the health e-certificate, established by the National Center for Disease Control, with the aim for presenting the best services for all Libyan citizens, and in heading towards digitalization for the Health Center services.

The system is concerned with providing an official medical report of the health status of citizens and residents in the State of Libya, which qualifies them to practice business or study as an official legal procedure. The system also makes it easier to get health certificates through registering on the platform for services and collection of the National Center for Disease Control.

The launch ceremony, which was held at the center’s location in Tripoli, was attended by the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Ramadan Abujnah, Director General of the National Center, Haidar Assaeh; Undersecretary to the Minister of Health for Hospital Affairs, Mr. Saad Addine Abdulwakeel, Undersecretary of the Minister of Health for Medical Centers Affairs, Mr. Tawfiq Adrissy; Head of the Municipal Guard, Major General Rajab Kattosa, Director of Head of Office Affairs, Mr. Ashraf Morabet, and a number of directors of departments and offices operating in the center; as well as persons interested and activists of the community, as they were briefed on the work of the system and the issuing of the first electronic health certificate. The Director General of the National Center for Disease Control confirmed, during his speech on the occasion, the importance of directing efforts toward technological administration in all branches of the center and its services.

In turn, the Acting Minister of Health expressed the importance of working with digital technology like the rest of the world, and the need for everyone to cooperate in order to succeed in providing health services with high quality to all citizens throughout the country.
